The route
The Enterprise Africa route
First day we went Bath-Portsmouth-Caen-then 20km south of Rennes (Janze)
Stayed there 2 nights then to Moulins(North-west of Lyon), then to Chambery and onto Italy (Turin, Milan, Trieste via the Mont Blac tunnel)
Then into Slovenia and Croatia down coast via Rijeka & Dubrovnik. Went as far as Albanian border at Podgorica, but didn’t go into Albania. Turned back and through Pristina to Skopje and onto Thessaloniki in Greece.

Went about 60km south of Thessaloniki to a place called Kallithea on the Kassandra peninsula for Christmas.

From there north east and to the Turkish border near Alexandroupoli. Turned right and down to the tip of the Gallipolli peninsula then crossed into Asia to Canakale from Kilitbahir.

To Troy (Truva) then down coast via Izmir to Ephesos (near Selcuk) and then relaxed in Bodrum before heading along the coast to Syria. We are now in Hama in Syria. We crossed the border near Aleppo and stayed there for three days and then headed to Palmyra in the desert.
