Decided to visit the “other Pyramids” at Sakara on the second day in Cairo. Unfortunately there was a full sandstorm blowing…bad idea…it is like being rubbed with sand paper (coarse grit) although it does exfoiliate your skin and eyeballs nicely. Ouch! Sign at Sakara says “Welcome to Egypt, land of happiness, civilization and immortality”- Could probably get them on at least one of those under the Trade Descriptions Act. Could stay a 1000 years to test the statement. |
