Kids kind of rebelled after this and convinced Clare to head somewhere a bit less exciting for their next night. Drove to Kasane along tracks consisting of deep, sandy, power sapping ruts which was pretty hard going. Mostly 1st and 2nd gear with the occasional drop into low ratio for the really tricky bits. Luckily, LR with no name loves sand and we didn’t get stuck once. Have done over 500 miles off road over the last few days and I am getting quite tired! Land Rover seems to be going fine, but still in my bad books. |
