Raj also phoned his friend who owned a tea plantation and we had a fascinating visit to a tea factory. The kids could see the whole process from beginning to end and they even let me put the Land Rover on the weighbridge. The result was a bit disturbing. With one tent unloaded, half a tank (half of 160 litres) but everyone in the vehicle it came to a staggering 3152kg or very near to the suspension max of 3500kg. Now I know why it finds accelerating and stopping such a challenge! Still not quite as heavy as a fully grown hippo though!
